where have i been?
Journal Entry:

so i've disappeared and have only make little stops at dA for the last year and half, at least. it doesn't seem that long, oddly. i first disappeared when i got a new job in nyc, which is a one and a half hour commute each way from here. so i got into this train/work/sleep thing. it's really not my thing i must say. but it didn't last long enough to become too horrid.
after heart surgery last july, my father suffered complications during rehab. he was clinically dead but they brought him back with electricity jolts. but he suffered from loss of oxygen to the brain, hence brain damage. since then, he's been back and forth from nursing home to hospital, with a few months of splendid recovery niched in there. his condition got complicated and much worse about 2 months ago, and we ended up bringing him home a month ago for hospice. i'm the primary caregiver so i was given a crash course in nursing before Dad came home. i do so many things that i could never have imagined myself doing before this. but this is what my father wanted, so i don't mind at all. he's always been strong, i'm trying to absorb it. he's already outlived the doctor's diagnosis.
so that's where i've been. i miss y'all. i'll be back...

To read "L"'herbe bleue" von Queneau, to listen Nico and to watch "Pierrot le fou" is a good way to fight the pain You're a very courageous and good man, I told you that, few month ago, but it's still true. J'admire ta force et ta tenacité. Je t'envoie toute mon amitié de France et pense à toi.
